Vintage American Bisque
Boy & Girl Bear Turn About

This cookie jar was made by the American Bisque Company of Wellsville, WV from a mold by Ludiwici Celadon between 1941 and 1945. The jar has four different views with boy's head with pants, girl's head with pants, boy's head with dress and girl's head with dress. Incised on the bottom are the words: "Patent Applied For Turnabout The 4 in One U. S. A." The cookie jar stands approx 11 3/4 " tall and has a width of about 6 ".

As you can see the bear is a little worse for
the wear.
No structural damage.
With a little repair and
the cold paint redone
This bear will be "Better Than the Average Cookie Bear"
